My book JUICY AF* (*Alcohol Free) launches on Tuesday, January 10th.
And I am terrified.
Terrified it’s going to launch to… crickets.
And simultaneously terrified that people are going to read it.
Nothing like acting out my existential crisis on a public stage. 😂🤦🏼♀️
I’m an exquisitely sensitive human being with the core wound of being unseen and therefore believing I am unworthy.
I have big emotions that I feel intensely.
Drinking numbed them out.
Now that drinking isn’t an option, I was reminded to use these tools:
1. Stop focusing on myself. Focus on the women I’m helping.
In my book, I call this the Copernican Shift. Remember Copernicus? He’s the dude that established that the earth orbits the sun rather than the earth being in the center of our universe.
In the same way, when I make the women I’m helping in the center of my universe of awareness instead of myself, my fear dissipates.
